The sophomore was one of six Bulldogs either looking to qualify for the NCAA Championships or to improve their already-qualifying marks at the Dr. Keeler Invitational this week.

Adrian's track and field teams had a strong showing at the Gina Relays hosted by Hillsdale College in final prep for the conference championships next weekend.

The senior set two PRs last week and leads the conference in both the 100-meter and 200-meter sprints heading into the conference championships this week.

The men sit in sixth and the women in seventh after four total events on Thursday.

Both the men's and women's team finished fifth overall, with the men earning 99.5 points and three event wins and the women earning 52 points.

Denzel Tinsley, John Hamilton, and Nicholas Jackson won their events at the MIAA Track and Field Outdoor Championships to garner the awards.

The Bulldogs picked up 42 team points, with 18 of those coming from the high jump where sophomores Nicholas Jackson and Daz Lawrence finished in the top two spots.
